Phonics Workshop

The Nursery staff organized a workshop for parents on 'Phonics'. The aim of the workshop was for parents to gain a better understanding of how Phonics is taught through play at the setting. Parents had the opportunity to get 'their hands dirty' as they used glue and a variety of collage materials  to decorate the letter 'C'.  Children were delighted to be working with their mums and mums found the workshop very useful. Parents were given tips on how they can help their child with phonics at home. Details of a useful Phonics website were shared with parents ( see link below).
