NEA ( Non Examination Assessments)

Non-examination Assessments (NEA) refer to the new GCE and GCSE linear specifications, all our subjects are not the linear specifications. A NEA is any type of assessment that is not externally set by the exam board, and is taken under controlled conditions.  There are strict regulations issued by the exam boards regarding the production of this type of work. Please see the JCQ guidelines relating to coursework/controlled assessments below. Candidates will be informed of their centre assessed marks prior to them being submitted to the exam board.  Candidates may request a review of marking where there are concerns about the mark.
