This term we welcomed 10 chicks into our Early Years setting, and everyone adored them. We kept the chicks in our classroom for 2 weeks and what a joy it was to have them. Children were delighted to see the way they hatched from an egg, into a chick. It was a great journey for the children to witness and experience for themselves. Many conquered the fear and held them in their hands. It was an exciting time for the Early Years and for the rest of the school as the chicks were very popular amongst the school. We thank the Living Eggs Programme for giving us the opportunity to look after and nurture the chicks.
