Textures

The children’s sense of touch has been heightened as they have been introduced to a variety of textures. The different textures that they have enjoyed exploring include baked beans, flour, twigs, leaves, paint and sand. The children commented calling the beans ‘slimy’ and ‘mushy’ and said that the flour was ‘dirty’, ‘snowy’ and some also recognised that their mummy’s make ‘roti’ (chappati) with it.
