Pyjama Party

We held a pyjama party for all the early years. Children came into school dressed in their pyjamas,they were also encouraged to bring their favourite book. The aim of this was to encourage the children to develop an early interest in reading books. Most of the children brought in books to show to the other children. The older children were encouraged to talk about their book;  retelling the story in their own words. To finish off the party we ended the day with popcorn and games....
